The GreaterGoods Nourish Digital Kitchen Food Scale is NOT a smart scale in the sense that you cannot connect the scale to a smartphone app. However, this scale is a great alternative if you decide not to go with a smart scale. Therefore, I am including this scale as a footnote in this review.
I recommend this scale if you want to count your calories in the plain old-fashioned easy way without the ‘hassle’ of connecting your phone to your scale. The GreaterGoods Nourish Digital Kitchen Food Scale is a very reliable electronic kitchen scale and has stood the test of time. It has been masterly-designed and it is very accurate.
To use this scale, you use the booklet that comes with the scale to find the code of your food item that the scale understands. Then, you manually enter the code of the food item into the scale, and the scale will calculate the calories in the food item based on the weight of the food and the code that you have entered.
